This short film shows how losing a loved one can push us to the limit. About how shared sadness won't always connect people, but can also make us lose each other. About how you can sometimes express more with music than with words, a universal language everyone speaks. It's a story of someone who was condemned to live in poverty on the streets but wouldn't want it any other way.

Il Pleut Des Voeux tells the story of Henri, a homeless man who wanders the streets of Ghent. Every day he plays the accordion, but every evening, without fail, he throws his earnings into the Leie.
