I. Het Bataljon as controller. The person responsible for processing is Het Bataljon bv, with registered office at 9000 Ghent, Lange Violettestraat 168 (BE), and registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0671.492.594.

II. Purposes and legal basis for data processing

(a) Customers

Het Bataljon processes personal data of its customers, its clients' employees, and, if applicable, of persons whose personal data it receives through its customers, for the following purposes:

  • The delivery of our services including their follow-up and billing;
  • To keep you informed about Het Bataljon and our activities (e.g. via a newsletter). The processing is based on the following legal basis:
  • If you are a customer yourself, the processing of the personal data specified below is by us necessary for the execution of the agreement that was concluded between you and Het Bataljon.
  • If you are an employee of our customer and our customer puts you forward as our contact person, the processing of your personal data is necessary for the purpose of the legitimate interest from our customer to communicate with us about the service.
  • The processing and use of email addresses for our electronic newsletters and activity invitations is necessary for the purpose of legitimate interest from Het Bataljon to provide its customers with information about Het Bataljon and our activities. Now that we have obtained your electronic contact details as part of our services, we assume that we may use your electronic contact details to inform you about our services, by means of electronic newsletters. However, with each newsletter, you are given the option to click on an “unsubscribe” link to let us know that you no longer wish to receive such newsletters and/or that you do not want your data to be processed in the context of such newsletters.

(b) Applicants, trainees and interns

Het Bataljon processes the personal data of its applicants, trainees and interns for the following purposes:

(c) Participants in Het Bataljon productions

Het Bataljon processes the personal data of the persons who apply to participate, either as extras or as main or key characters in one of its audiovisual (or other) productions for the following purposes:

  • Criteria or data specific to the production in question. Certain data will necessarily need to be processed by Het Bataljon so that we can properly execute our agreement or cooperation with you (e.g. contact details and billing information).

IV. Duration of data processing

We process and store your personal data for as long as necessary for active file follow-up or possible future cooperation, and in any case for as long as legally necessary for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

You can terminate the processing of your personal data for our newsletters yourself at any time by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link.

The personal data that is stored in our databases for the purpose of your (possible) employment within Het Bataljon, providing services to Het Bataljon or participating in one or more production (s) of Het Bataljon is stored for a period of 7 years from the date of inclusion of your personal data in our databases.

We process your personal data, from visitors to the website who fill out the contact page or use the chat function, solely to follow up on your initiative. VII. Het Bataljon as processor on behalf of a controller
